Blues DeVille  Blues DeVille is named after a classic guitar amp of the 1940s.  The band plays traditional Delta blues, Chicago blues, Texas boogie and R&B-funk.  The band encourages audience participation, providing a musical platform for dancers to glide on while incorporating improvisation and jazz-like interaction.  Blues DeVille has a distinctive sound that comes across in cover tunes while still and preserving the original vibe of the song.  Larry Curtis on guitar anchors the band.  Curtis is a professional musician who's been playing since the '50s and did studio work with the Rivingtons and Little Richard as well as touring with his band out of Tacoma, Washington.  Vocalist Steve Wright also plays harmonica and trumpet.  On drums is John Paul Stinson, who has played with local favorite Louie Ortega.  Keyboardist Scott Klynas is classically trained in piano and guitar and hails from Chicago.  Gordon Jennings on bass rounds out the band.
